So Who Am I?

I started this blog several years ago as an overarching place to vent and rant about stuff that turns me on, turns me off or that I otherwise found worthy. I left the blog behind in 2011 while I struggled through my second divorce, family court and unemployment.

After being summarily dismissed by my ex-wife and losing nearly everything except a stack of bills and personal effects, I found myself at several junctures broke, employed, laid off, broke, in a relationship, kicked out again, homeless, nomadic and finally got sick of all of that bullshit and reinvented myself. Let me be a bit more specific. I didn't so much reinvent as found myself again at the bottom and a strong desire to kick some ass and get my crap together.

Now it's 2015. I'm back in the swing and doing the turn n burn on my old socially expected life by living out loud, my way, on my terms. I accept nothing else. Back in the day as a veteran and police officer I had the world by the short curlies. I'm back so get on board this train or get off the track because I'm coming through.

These days I do some application architecture for web-based projects, occasionally some graphic design, email campaign management and Social Media oversight bringing companies up to speed with engagement on THOSE channels.

I also have a mission and it is this: this blog will be primarily for men and the women who love them. I'm going to share my experiences and those of others I have had the pleasure to call friend, client and brother. You're going to be equipped with the tools you need to man up, be successful in the dating world and be the best version of yourself you can possibly be.
